We’ll cover chemistry and materials, preparation of solution, exposure techniques, processing and finishing.

Students will have time to experiment with composition, layering, and masking techniques to create a collection of one-of-a-kind prints.

Supplies Provided:

Cyanotype chemicals (potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate).

Substrates (paper, fabric, etc.).

Basic tools and equipment (brushes, trays, etc.).

Students are encouraged to bring small objects (stones, figurines, jewelry), photo negatives, images, or fabric for experimentation and printing.
