The Class:

  • In this workshop, we’ll cover the basics for creating monoprints, a form of printmaking where an image can only be created once, using a variety of materials, acrylic paint and a gelatin printing plate. 

  • Students will learn about and experiment with color blocking, texture, and image transfers to create layers and depth in one of a kind prints.   

  • Each student will leave class with a stack of unique prints.

  • 5” x 7” Gelli Plate

  • Brayers

  • Acrylic Paint

  • Paper

  • Some magazines

  • Scissors

  • Gel medium
