I have to admit, we needed to look up Guernsey on a map before getting started. We learned that not only is this beautiful island nestled between France and England, but that the Abilone shell is native to the island. The bride wanted this opalescent shell to be incorporated into the suite so we threaded the imported shell with delicate gold thread.
