Risograph (ree-sow-graf) printing is a fun (and environmentally friendly) print-making process invented in Japan that looks like a photocopier, works as a screenprinter, and uses stencils and rich spot colors to create vibrant, unique prints. It’s experienced a resurgence in the the last few decades and we are THRILLED to be able to offer our very first (of hopefully many) riso workshops to come thanks to our “riso-in-residence” pals at FIXER Studio!
(Fun fact: In 2003, one of Arley’s roommates from the Dirt Palace went to Amsterdam and came back talking about this mysterious new printing method that was all the rage called “Risograph Printing”. Ah, memories!)
